BY APPOINTMENT Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 am to 9:00 pm
Our veterinary team is fully COVID-19 vaccinated!
We are COVID careful! We wear masks and gloves when meeting with you, our clients, and when handling your pets.
We will remain open and will continue to conduct business in a safe and responsible manner with additional sanitary and disinfecting precautions in place.
Arizona Veterinary Ambulance (AVA) offers you the convenience of staying in the comfort and safety of your own home during your pet’s veterinary visit! We are a Mobile Vet Clinic for Tucson and Surrounding Areas!
No more loading your pets into a car, juggling them into a clinic, and then repeating it all over again on your way out!
No more stressful wait times in a lobby or exam room for you or your pets!
No more worrying about keeping your young children occupied during your pet’s appointment!
When we arrive at your home, your pets are our only priority!
We provide wellness guidance on diet, weight management, mental health, training, and evidence-based supplements for joint, skin, kidney, liver, and gastrointestinal health. As adjunctive treatment to some conditions, Endo Blend, a purified CBD oil—tested free of toxic-for-pets THC—may be recommended.
Dogs and cats are often very good at hiding illness, so if you are seeing something wrong, your pet’s health issue may be even more serious than it appears! We will bring our mobile vet clinic to you and your sick pet for care! Click to review signs of illness that require medical treatment.
Diagnostics—such as blood work, urinalysis, heartworm and infectious disease testing, fecal examination, x-rays, ultrasound, eye diagnostics, electrocardiogram, blood pressure, and others—are recommended for healthy pet screenings and for sick pets. Click to learn more about diagnostics available in the moment on our veterinary coach!
AVA mobile vet clinic has a surgical suite on our coach with complete capabilities to perform a wide range of surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, and wound repairs. Any surgical procedures out of our scope of care will be referred to a boarded veterinary surgeon. Click to learn more about anesthesia.
We want to be able to help all of our patients in emergency situations. However, because we are a small practice, we cannot guarantee appointment availability during an emergency. We only see patients during our business hours; we do not have after hours services. Click to review emergencies that require immediate care.
Photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy—commonly known as laser therapy—results in decreased inflammation, decreased pain, and accelerated healing. We use our Companion Animal Laser to treat a wide variety of conditions including pre-surgical, post-surgical, acute, and chronic disease states. Click to learn more about laser therapy.
Our goal with hospice care is to keep your pet’s quality of life at a degree that allows them to enjoy their last days with you in relative peace. Hospice care may be an option for your best friend, prior to the last gifts you can give your pet: humane euthanasia and freedom from suffering. Click to learn more about hospice and euthanasia.
