Urgent care situations include those in which your pet is currently stable but needs care for an illness or injury.​​​

Emergency reasons your pet needs to see a veterinarian immediately:

• Bleeding

• Bone fractures

• Burns

• Collapse

• Drug exposure or ingestion

• Dystocia (signs of dystocia)

• Electrocution

• Extreme pain

• Facial swelling

• Heat stroke

• Hives

• Inability to urinate

• Loss of consciousness

• Neurologic abnormalities

• Non-productive retching

• Pale or Blue mucous membranes

• Prolapsed organs (eg, eye, uterus, penis, rectum)

• Rapid abdominal distension

• Rattlesnake bite

• Repeated vomiting

• Respiratory distress

• Seizures

• Smoke inhalation

• Toxin exposure or ingestion

• Trauma (eg, bite wounds, hit by car)

• Weakness
